Comission a Custom Painting
When you comission a painting from me, you’ll get a piece that completely
unique to you and your space. Whether you want to capture a moment,
honor your story, or simply celebrate your form, my brushes are ready.

Wherever you are with your idea, I can meet you there. We will work together to figure out the rest.
Here’s what you need to know:
It’s a collaborative process
Once we’ve narrowed down your idea, we will go foward with these steps:
•The pose: Some already have a favorite photo of themself/ pårtner they want me to re-create (with consent). Others need more guidance. I can send you a range of pose ideas and you can set up a tripod, or have a photoshoot with your partner or friend to find the best shot. Wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, or get creative using hands/hair to cover yourself where you wish.
• The final sketch: Once you have a few favorite images, I’ll make rough sketches of up to 3 of them. After you decide which you like best, I’ll create a more detailed and ratio scaled sketch for approval.
• Check-ins: I will intermittently send you my progress directly. I’ll also post regular updates on my social media of the painting process. Feel free to chime in with your input, but kindly understand that I may not be able to accomodate all requests.
Customizing your piece
Here are some points to consider when commissioning a painting:
• Canvas size: My canvas sizes range from A4 paper size to a large 120x150cm. Visualize where you see yourself or loved one hanging the piece to understand the best size for you.
• Color scheme: I can paint in any colors you enjoy, or in black and white/ monochrome. Take a look at my portfolio or Instagram (@eva.de.artist) for inspiration. Feel free to send me a picture of your space and we can also brainstorm colors together.
• Subject matter: Do you envision one subject or multiple? Do you see yourself/ loved one in the painting, or would you rather I use outside model(s)? Do you envision faces included for an even more personalized touch? If you’re unsure, just reach out, and I’ll help you narrow it down.
Pricing & Shipping
Pricing varies depending on size and motif complexity. Reach out to me via the contact form or on Instagram for a non-binding quote.
Orders in Copenhagen (or the surrounding area) can be arranged to be physically picked up or dropped off by me.
For orders that requiring shipping, it is paid by the customer and added into the total price.
For a cheaper shipping option, I paint on loose canvas and ship the painting rolled up in a tube. The canvas can then be taken to a framer for stretching.
