2025’s Young Debuting Artist at Havarthigaarden.
In November 2025, I was selected as one of two young debuting artists at Havarthigaarden’s annual art market, together with fellow painter Janus Rosholm.
The exhibition brought together 30 artists showing paintings, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, and more.
Havarthigaarden itself was such a cool setting - it’s a historic farm in Holte where Havarthi cheese was first made. The old barns, stables, and gardens gave the exhibition a really unique vibe.
‘Peep Show,’ 90x120 cm.
My favorite painting from the show.
Nordisk Kunstforening’s
First Exhibition.
I was thrilled to take part in Nordisk Kunstforening’s first ever exhibition at Langes Magasin in Frederikssund - a historic building from 1750 - alongside nine other talented Danish artists.
Instead of showing our works separately, they were brought together under four main themes - joy, calm, winter, and strength. We even shared some of our mistakes and frustrations, which made the show feel even more authentic and connected.
To top it off, I sold one of my original paintings, ‘Girl on Fire.’
“Girl On Fire.” 40x50cm.
Art Hillerød 2025.
I was selected to exhibit at Art Hillerød, one of Denmark’s largest contemporary art fairs, featuring 90 selected artists from across the country and beyond.
I spent the weekend connecting with collectors and fellow artists in a vibrant, creative atmosphere- and was proud to sell one of my original paintings, “To-Be-Looked-At-Ness,” during the fair.
“To-Be-Looked-At-Ness.” 80x100cm.
Brøndsalen Team-Art
Guest Exhibitor, 2024.
I was invited as a guest exhibitor to join Team-Art’s yearly 2-week exhibition at Brøndsalen in Frederiksberg, alongside 10 other artists.
I presented a brand new collection of paintings- all inspired by the male gaze, a theory I had spent the previous 6 months writing my Master’s thesis on.
Musicon Kunstfestival Roskilde, 2022.
I exhibited at Musicon Kunstfestival in 2022, a three-day art event held in KunstSmedjen- an old industrial space turned creative hub in the heart of Roskilde’s Musicon district.
It was my first time exhibiting at an art fair, and the support I received gave me the confidence to keep moving forward as an artist.
The Male Gaze: Internalized
One of the key pieces I showed at Musicon Kunstfestival was The Male Gaze: Internalized- the first painting I created inspired by the concept of the male gaze, which has become a recurring theme in my work.
The round canvas reminded me of a window, so I built a scene around that: a girl alone in her bedroom, being watched through her reflection in the mirror by an inescapable voyeur.
But the voyeur isn’t a stranger- it’s the gaze she’s internalized herself. She’s grown up surrounded by explicit and subliminal messages about how a woman should look and behave. Over time, those expectations become her own. She begins to see herself through the eyes of others- until even in solitude, she performs.
Look closely and you’ll see small eyes hidden throughout the room, watching her. In the mirror, she locks eyes with the figure behind the curtain- a quiet confrontation with the gaze she can no longer escape.
